Wagtime Wedding & a Girl's night in!

Last weekend Carol@Wagtime had the pleasure of a Girl's night in with two Golden Girls - Timber and Magic the black labs.  The girls were visiting from London for their owner's folks' Ruby Wedding.  Wagtime were called on to give them a bit of TLC while their folks were off partying in Edinburgh.  continued below...

Treats do the trick

We had  super time together - watching a bit of tennis on TV, a few doddles round the garden and game of ball with Magic who at the age of 11 still thinks she is a puppy.  Timber is the grand old age of 14 and does remarkably well despite a touch of arthritis.  The heat was getting to her a bit but she kept an eye on me and seemed to know that I was there to give her some tlc.  2 cats Mack and Mable were also in residence but they kept well hidden most of the time.  When I went to greet Mack, Timber checked up on me and seemed to say "never mind the cat you are here to look after me".

The Ruby Wedding Party went well and the humans returned having had a great night out.  Timber and Magic were a delight and Carol@Wagtime thoroughly enjoyed her night in and the pizza and nibbles kindly provided by the humans (though the Golden Girls kept a beady eye on me while I was eating it...never too old to mooch a bit of pizza, but spicy chicken not that good a choice for the elderly stomach).

we had a lovely laid back time. They were no problem at all, indeed two elderly ladies. Delightful!
