Today I had the pleasure of walking Herr Milo the beautiful Giant Schnauzer brother of Inca the Wagtime Wolf. What a lovely boy. This was a getting to know you walk for the two of us. The last time I went for a walk with Inca, young Milo was off running in the mountains with his folks. continued below...
Both Inca and Milo gave me a lovely welcome, might be my perfume but probably the treats I came loaded with:-) To be honest I think Inca was a wee bit jealous Milo was getting all of the attention today because she tried to follow us down the road. Apparently she was giving wolf howls while we were away! Funny girl!
Milo and I decided not to head for the Cairngorms, Lake District or any other exotic spot on this wee wander. We headed off across the field, over the playing fields, took in the building works across the way. Then it was off up to the posh Cala houses for a wee nosy through the windows. Only joking, we kept our gazes to the gardens.
It was at this point we came across a curious sight. A bouncy boy on a spongebob squarepants pogo stick and a glitzy bendy girl doing dance and contortions on the pavement. Milo was not impressed by the bouncy boy, to be fair it is not a common sight in many neighbourhoods. It turned out that these talented youngsters were raising money for Barnardo's. We had a lovely chat and they admired the handsome Milo. Although Bouncy Boy thought Milo might be a Scotty dog... we will forgive him as he had been bouncing for two hours and had only fallen off twice!
We made a donation, said our farewells and headed off to the woods and then down into Duloch Park. Milo was great, walked beautifully on the lead, kept to my pace...middle-aged lady pace;-) and was very good with all the dogs we saw.
Vielen Dank fuer Heute Herr Milo! Bis zum naechsten Mal mein Schatz. Mach's gut deine Freundin Carola von Wagtime xx
