Snuggy and Friends

New kids on the block

Yesterday two new Edinburgh boys joined Wagtime.  Max and Arthur have recently left Auld Reekie behind and settled here in the Kingdom.  Therefore instead of doing a more scenic walk we thought we would get to know eachother on a wee walk round their new stomping ground of Duloch.  continued below...

where humans go hunting for dog food!

We headed up past the Tesco's Extra where we met Carol@Wagtime's neighbour George who paused to make a fuss of the boys.  We then carried on up past the school and community centre, past the park where we met the mini Wagtimer who was out playing Danish long ball ?! with her classmates from Duloch Primary School.  She also made a big fuss of the boys who lapped it up.

We were soon back on our way into the Calais Wood, a great place for a sniff about for two young wags out on the town.  We then started the "circuit" anti-clockwise, passing the Amazon Warehouse, off up the hill past Shepherd off-shore passing the Learner drivers who practise roundabouts on Sandpiper Drive.  The boys took all of this in their stride.

At the top of the hill we made a quick detour into the Fife Leisure Park.  We paused outside Dobbies, the Duloch Gathering place for women who like to shop, drink tea and have a chinwag.  Then we deliberated whether to have lunch at Tony Macaroni, Bella Italia or pop into the Odeon to watch a picture or have a workout at Bannatyne's gym.  None of these options appealed and we decided to continue the circuit.

Max and Arthur checked out the new build houses on the way back down the hill but decided to stay put in their nice comfy new house with their folks.  Maybe a penthouse flat would have tempted the boys:-)

Then it was back through Duloch Park where we met lots of dogs including the beautiful Jodie the tri-colour Cavalier King Charles spaniel.  I think she was quite taken by the boys and they were with her too:-)

Nearly home we walked quickly past Aldi and Greggs, and Wagtime HQ.  The boys were ready for a long drink of water and then collapsed on a heap on the kitchen floor.  A good time was had by all and the weather helped too.  Looking forward to our next Big day out boys...revving up the Wagmobile in preparation:-)
