Puppy Love

Well it has been quite some time since my last post - Wagtime has been Puppy Central for the last few months which has kept Carol@Wagtime on her toes.  So in honour of Love Day @ Wagtime here are some updated photos of the Wagtime Nursery playmates.

Leo is the elder statespuppy of the group.  Now 7 months, Leo has grown into a fine dog.  He is a very friendly chap who loves to play with his mates in the neighbourhood.  He likes nothing better than a wee wrestle with Charlie the Pug.  There is a real Bromance going on there:-)  Leo loves a game of tug and getting his ears and belly tickled.  Carol@Wagtime is constantly being stopped and asked what kind of dog he is.  Brings a smile to everyone's face.

Barney is unbelievably 5 months already!  He is a very clever and bouncy chap.  We love to play fetch in the garden to burn off some of that excess energy.  He does a wee poodle routine - sit, lie down, roll over and then gives each paw for a treat.  Barney has just gone for his first full poodle clip so watch this space for photos of his makeover.  Already bigger than most dogs he meets! Barney is a Curly Wurly delight to look after:-)

This is not the best picture of young Alfie.  When he was a tiny puppy he liked nothing better than to pose for the camera.  Now this young gentleman is constantly on the move.  He is a typical Westie who has graduated from worrying my ankles (interspersed with kisses) to a wee fluffy, white guard dog.  The minutes he steps outside his house he is on the alert for intruders onto his patch.

Cody the wee fluff ball is now a big fluff ball!  He is a cheeky wee chappie who runs round his walk and scoffs his lunch in double time.  Cody loves a wee gentle cuddle.  His coat is so soft and snuggly and he gives lovely little kisses.  Top Shih Tzu puppy!

Chester is the baby of the bunch.  Born on the 4th of July his kennel club name is Barack Obama and there is certainly a Presidential air to this little black lab.  He is going through a serious growth spurt at the moment.  Through it all his tail never stops wagging.  Chester loves dive bombing me for a play.  This is going to get interesting as he grows into a full sized lab.  Watch this space.

Carol@Wagtime loves all the pups she cares for.  It has been a real privilege to play some small part in helping to make them into the fine dogs they are today.

Let's end with a song from my childhood curtesy of Donny Osmond (sort of):

And they called it puppy love
Oh I guess they'll never know
How a nanny's heart really feels
And why I love them so
And they called it puppy love
Just because they're only weans
Tell them all, please tell them it is true
Cos they're the puppies of my dreams

PS - You are all growing up too fast!!!
