Poodles, Doodles and Noodles

What a lovely start to the week, a day of Poodles, Doodles and Noodles.  Our Wagtime Day started with new Wagtimer Puppy Barney the Standard Poodle.  Barney is just 11 weeks old and full of fun.  His lovely black curls are very cuddly and he loves to play with his Snugga Wubba and bound around the garden.  He soon crashes and burns in a curly wurly heap. continued below...

Then it was off to Broomhall Estate with our favourite Doodle, Dudley Doodle the chocolate truffle hound.  He sniffed his way all around the estate, no stone unturned until he managed to flush out a grouse hiding in the hedgerow.  Poor grouse flew off into the corn field in shock.  After a lovely walk Dudley passed out in the back of the car - tired but happy.

Then it was home for a quick lunch of sweet and sour noodles followed by a game of ball with the Snugster who gave me oodles of cuddles.

More Wagtime fun early afternoon with poodle Barney then Snuggy and I went off to visit one of our favourite things - no not Apple Strudel but whiskers on kittens belonging to the flower girls - Iris and Bluebell.  They were not impressed by Snuggy eyeing them up from a distance as she lurked down the side of the house.  Chef Carol prepared the girls' meal of Tuna tartare served with biscuits and treats.  Snuggy and Carol rounded off the day with a lovely walk on country lanes then it was off home for dinner.   A fine end to a lovely day.

For those who were wondering here are the lyrics to:

My Favorite Things by Maria
Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things
Cream colored ponies and crisp apple streudels
Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings
These are a few of my favorite things
Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes
Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes
Silver white winters that melt into springs
These are a few of my favorite things
When the dog bites
When the bee stings
When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don't feel so bad

PS Wagtime dogs never bite they just nibble:-)

Hey,Carol! Great pics and I love the pup, look's like Barney is having a great time! I'm currently looking after some Russian Blue's who look very similar to Iris!

Barney is delightful. Iris is a beautiful cat like a big beefy teddy bear. She likes to lounge while Bluebell is a huntress. Beef mince on the menu for our flower girls tomorrow. No tins for them.
